Georgia Dirt Racing

I first started this website in the Spring of 2023 as a way to try to share my enjoyment of Dirt Track Racing. Then a few months later, i made the decision to Purchase a bare chassis and build a car. So while this page is Mostly Dedicated to the tracks and race teams in Georgia. There is also a section that will show how my own car / team, is progressing..... at a slow but steady pace.  For those interested, you can find the racing videos that i record @tim.mcdaniel.racing on Tiktok. Hartwell has been leased, New Promoters will be upgrading the facility with new clay for the track (30 loads of clay), adding to the banking, upgrading the bathrooms and concession stands. Race schedule will be coming out soon, they hope to start in Mid March and continue with weekly racing through October.

 

North Georgia Speedway wil be releasing their 2025 schedule on January 1st.

Winder Barrow Speedway has announced that they will be having a MAJOR Race on April 12, 2025. Check their page for more information on this and other announcements.

 

Lavonia Speedway has had a Rules meeting for the Stock 8 and Late Model. I have no information on the Late Model rules, but i attended and recorded the Stock 8 rules meeting. I have it posted on my ticktok. @tim.mcdaniel.racing
